Jessie Ware has shared “Save a Kiss,” the latest taste of her upcoming studio album, What’s Your Pleasure?.
The fresh track continues the British singer’s quick run of singles from her new LP, which started early last year with “Adore You,” and proceeded with “Mirage (Don’t Stop),” “Spotlight” and “Ooh La La.” With its bouncing beat and electronic groove, “Save a Kiss” is yet another strong cut from What’s Your Pleasure?.
“‘Save a Kiss’ has taken on a new meaning during these weird times and it seems like the right time to put it out,” Ware said in a statement. “This track is an optimistic one for me, I hope it resonates with people wherever they are right now. It’s an upbeat song to dance along to and have fun with. I know I’ve got plenty of kisses I’m saving up for everyone when this is all over.”
What’s Your Pleasure? was initially slated to drop on June 5. However, its release date was postponed to June 19 due to the coronavirus pandemic. Ware’s last album, Glasshouse, arrived in 2017 and featured collaborations with Ed Sheeran, Julia Michaels and Cashmere Cat, among others.
