Jacquees has finally unveiled his much-delayed sophomore album, the audaciously named King of R&B.
The record was originally announced earlier in the year as Round II, with a then-expected release date of July 19. Round II was supposed to include appearances from Summer Walker, Lil Baby and Future, but was pushed back just a day before its release.
The retooled 14-track King of R&B instead features contributions from rappers Tory Lanez, TI and Quavo, as well as hip hop collective FYB. Young Thug and Gunna also appear on the previously released “Verify.” Former title track “Round II” is also included on the record.
King of R&B is Jacquees’ follow-up to his 2018 debut album, 4275. He recently teamed up with Dreezy on “Love Someone.”
