Ian Isiah spotlights essential workers in “Loose Truth” video

From his upcoming album, ‘AUNTIE.’

Ian Isiah has released a heartwarming music video for his new song, “Loose Truth.”

The clip spotlights people of color who have been serving as essential workers for over 25 years, as well as their families, as stated in the YouTube video’s description. Directed by Thuan Tran, the video also features appearances from the BLCK MRCY Music Collective and other Black activists.

“This music video was made to show the world that direct support to local Black and POC essential workers is a top priority. Each family blessed me tremendously and it’s my duty to return the love,” Isiah said in a statement. The R&B singer also collaborated with CashApp to deposit donations directly in the pockets of these individuals.

“Loose Truth” will be included in Isiah’s forthcoming “funk project,” AUNTIE. The album, produced by Chromeo, was first previewed with its lead single “NUTS” in May, and is slated to drop sometime this summer.
