HER’s new EP is a collection of sultry R&B jams

‘I Used to Know Her: The Prelude’ gives you a taste of the singer’s debut album.

Before HER drops her debut album, the rising R&B songbird has shared a new EP to give fans a little teaser of what to expect on her highly anticipated first record.

I Used to Know Her: The Prelude includes six songs. It opens with the hard-hitting hip hop tune “Lost Souls,” featuring DJ Scratch, before delving into slinky R&B jams like “Against Me” and “As I Am.” The Bryson Tiller-assisted track, “Could’ve Been,” is easily one of the highlights on the record. It’s a dreamy, melancholic ballad that describes a love lost, and marries their soulful vocals perfectly.

HER has yet to release the official release date for her debut album, I Used to Know Her. But for now, you can stream the entire EP below to get your HER fix.
