dvsn have shared a cover of Kings of Leon’s song, “Use Somebody.” Their rendition also interpolates another one of the band’s 2008 hits, “Sex on Fire.”
“I’ve been roaming around, always looking down at all I see / Painted faces fill the places I can’t reach / You know that I could use somebody,” vocalist Daniel Daley croons in the Canadian duo’s soulful cover. The track concludes with Daley’s passionate interpolation of “Sex on Fire.”
dvsn—the duo of Daley and producer Nineteen85—will include the take on “Use Somebody” on the forthcoming project Amusing Her Feelings. The offering is due out tomorrow, and will serve as a “continuation chapter” to their album A Muse in Her Feelings. That record dropped in December and featured Snoh Aalegra, Future, Ty Dolla $ign and more.
dvsn’s cover dropped the same time Kings of Leon announced their new album When You See Yourself with the tracks “The Bandit” and “100,000 People.”
