Georgia Anne Muldrow gets groovy at NPR’s ‘Tiny Desk’

A heartfelt performance.

The latest NPR Tiny Desk comes from R&B artist Georgia Anne Muldrow, who delivered a vibey three-song set.

Muldrow performed “Overload” and “Ciao” off her 2018 LP Overload, as well as “Flowers,” a duet with her partner Dudley Perkins. Backing her at NPR were bassist Bronson Garza, drummer Renaldo Elliott and keyboardist Mokichi.

Muldrow has made a name for herself since her 2006 debut album, Olesi: Fragments of an Earth, going on to collaborate with Yasiin Bey (fka Mos Def), Erykah Badu and Madlib.
