Gallant won’t go away in the video for “Comeback.”

The first taste of the ‘Neptune’ EP.

Gallant has dropped a music video for his new single “Comeback.”

In the clip, directed by Bennett Johnson, the singer and his love interest have ostensibly split up—but she still sees him everywhere, whether it’s in a television infomercial or as a bobblehead on her car dashboard, crooning to her in an attempt to get her back. In the end, Gallant shows up in person to try and win her over. Does he succeed? Watch the video to find out.

“Comeback.,” which falls squarely in the realm of R&B from the ’90s and 2000s, is a preview of Gallant’s upcoming Neptune EP. The project will follow his 2019 album Sweet Insomnia, which featured “Crimes,” “Sharpest Edges” and the title track featuring 6LACK.
