Gallant recruits A$AP Ferg on “Doesn’t Matter Remix”

The duo also dropped a music video for their collab.

R&B up-and-comer Gallant has enlisted Harlem rapper A$AP Ferg to spice things up on the remix of his latest single, “Doesn’t Matter.”

In the rework, the “Plain Jane” rapper opens the slow-burning jam with an alluring verse, “We could hit up any spot in the nation / Skinny dipping, might want to leave your braids in / Don’t worry about no groupies / Give you Prada, give you Gucci.” Gallant steps in after to take over with his silky-smooth vocals.

The track’s got its own music video, too. Directed by Sasha Samsonova—she was also responsible for the original “Doesn’t Matter” visual—the clip features cuts of Ferg dancing and rapping in a minimalistic blue-lit room before he’s joined by Gallant and an unknown female.

The pair also performed the song on Jimmy Kimmel Live! last week.
