Free Nationals enlist JID for new track, “On Sight”

Also featuring Kadhja Bonet and MIKNNA.

Anderson .Paak’s band the Free Nationals have shared yet another new track, “On Sight.” It features vocals from JID, Kadhja Bonet and R&B duo MIKNNA.

The funky track opens with bubbling electronic beats as MIKNNA sing over a groovy wah bassline. “Always fade on sight / If you don’t come right / Gonna catch this flight / It was love at first sight,” they sing on the chorus.

“On Sight” also features Bonet’s buttery vocals and a melodic verse from JID. “It feel like an episode from a show where I don’t really know who’s the leading role / But rolling with a theater isn’t easy just believe me on god,” the Atlanta rapper spits.

The Free Nationals previously dropped “Time,” which features Kali Uchis and the late Mac Miller, and “Beauty & Essex,” featuring Daniel Caesar and Unknown Mortal Orchestra.
