FKA twigs delivers intimate piano rendition of “Cellophane”

Filmed in the stunning Wallace Collection in London.

FKA twigs—real name Tahliah Debrett Barnett—has dropped a stunning live version of her latest single, “Cellophane,” with cellist Lucinda Chua and performer Sakeema Crook.

Filmed in London’s iconic The Wallace Collection, the self-directed video centers on twigs at the piano, performing a breathtaking rendition of the powerful ballad. “And I just want to feel you’re there / And I don’t want to have to share our love / I try, but I get overwhelmed / All wrapped in cellophane, the feelings that we had,” she sings.

“To perform ‘Cellophane’ at The Wallace Collection is a dream come true,” Barnett said in a press release. “This is my love letter to the artifacts and paintings held within its walls, and to one of my favorite designers, Vivienne Westwood, whose portrait collection was inspired by these pieces. It was an emotional experience to perform in that magical place, and to be wearing these beautiful clothes I’ve spent years collecting.”
