Erykah Badu and James Poyser have dropped a dreamy cover of Squeeze’s 1981 song“Tempted.”

Initially released on Record Store Day as a 7-inch vinyl-only exclusive, the song has now been made available for streaming on all digital platforms. The soulful song features the pair singing over groovy instrumentals provided by Thundercat, Derrick Hodge and Ali Jackson. “Tempted by the fruit of another / Tempted but the truth is discovered / What’s been going on, now that you have gone,” they sing.

“Tempted” is Badu’s first release since her 2015 But You Caint Use My Phone mixtape. She previously dropped by NPR’s Tiny Desk series for a jazz-inspired performance.
