Elijah Blake has dropped Bijoux 23, the singer-songwriter’s sixth full-length release.
The 26-year-old, who wrote Usher’s “Climax” and Rihanna’s “No Love Allowed,” demonstrated his prowess by crafting the smooth eight-track project in just a week. The effort is a follow-up to his 2012 debut, Bijoux 22.
“I wholeheartedly feel this is the progression that should’ve followed 22 but didn’t because of industry politics,” said Blake in a guest editorial with DJBooth. “In a sense, I’m basically picking up where I left off from the project that started it all for me. It’s about time.”
