Chloe x Halle have unveiled their sophomore album, Ungodly Hour, alongside a cinematic new clip for the song “Forgive Me.”

Speaking with CBS, the Bailey sisters said that the song “Forgive Me” is most representative of the whole album, which explores feelings of regret, love and growing up. “We’re being unapologetically ourselves, and if anyone can’t accept that, we hope they can forgive us. Because we’re still going to live our best lives and continue being the best version of ourselves, while making mistakes along the way,” Chloe said.

In the accompanying video, the sisters fight off men who are pining for them while performing the song. “Oh, you lie, oh, you lie / Give me back all my time / So forgive me, no, not really / Best believe I’ll move onto better things,” they sing.

Ungodly Hour was originally set for release on June 5, but was postponed a week in solidarity with ongoing protests against police brutality. The record also features the previously released songs, “Do it” and “Catch Up.”
