Brockhampton drop new song, “1999 Wildfire”

The song is taken off their forthcoming project, ‘the best years of our lives.’

After releasing “Tonya” on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon last month, Brockhampton are back again with yet another melancholic track.

“1999 Wildfire,” premiered on the boyband’s Beats 1 show, is the second single off their upcoming record, the best years of our lives. Featuring a slick 2000s-inspired R&B beat with a hint of Outkast, the track hears the group looking back on their road to fame and taking jabs at all their doubters.

“Just a group of outcasts with a glint of hope / Well, now we’re eating grapes and the finest cheese / Achieving wisdom from wizards we were tryna be,” Joba raps on his verse.
