Brent Faiyaz has come through with another seasonal track, “Rehab (Winter in Paris),” the follow-up to “Fuck the World (Summer in London).”
On the hypnotic song, the crooner tells the tale of an unhealthy relationship that he can’t let go of. “Lately I been thinking ’bout us / You as real as they come / But you would rather be on them drugs / And I would rather hang with my thugs,” he sings over finger snaps and a groovy electric guitar melody.
Both “Rehab (Winter in Paris)” and “Fuck the World (Summer in London)” are expected to feature on Faiyaz’s forthcoming EP. The as-yet-untitled project will be his first since last year’s Lost.
