Ari Lennox enlists Doja Cat for ‘Shea Butter Baby’ remix EP

Also featuring Smino and Durand Bernarr.

Ari Lennox has released a new EP that features remixed versions of tracks from her album Shea Butter Baby.

The project’s highlight is a reworked version of “BMO,” featuring a raunchy new verse from Doja Cat. “What you gotta give me faces for? / Eat it like you took your braces off / Have you on your knees beggin’ me / It won’t take me long,” she spits. The EP also features new renditions of “I Been” and “Facetime,” featuring Smino and Durand Bernarr respectively.

Last May, Lennox released her debut album Shea Butter Baby via Interscope and J Cole’s Dreamville. The record included songs such as “Whipped Cream” and “Up Late,” featuring Masego.

Lennox also appeared on the collaborative Dreamville album, Revenge of the Dreamers III, which was released last year. A deluxe edition with 12 additional songs was released in January.
