Angel counts his “Blessings” in uplifting video

His newest music since 2018’s ‘Woman.’

British R&B singer Angel—aka Sirach Charles—has shared a video for his latest single, “Blessings.”

The inspirational track features acoustic instrumentation and a straightforward message about gratitude. “Why am I stressing? I better count my blessings / Life could’ve been more threatening,” Charles sings on the chorus.

The accompanying clip was directed by Paul Akinrinlola, and intercuts scenes of Charles in a London neighborhood with portraits of diverse individuals. “With the visual, I wanted to bring everyone to my world, and show the people where I grew up and show them some of the closest people to me,” the singer told Complex. “I’m a simple man, so kicking it with my close ones at the family crib, or posting up on the block with my day ones, [it’s those] priceless moments that ‘Blessings’ is all about.”
