Her debut album, ‘It Was Divine,’ arrives in May.

Alina Baraz has announced her debut album, It Was Divine, and released the lead single “Morocco,” featuring 6LACK.

On sultry slow jam, the duo swap lines about a love that transports them to a tropical paradise. “Yeah, you take me to another time zone / Without ever even leavin’ my door / Steady ridin’ to another life, though / Oh, I look up and we in Morocco,” she croons.

It Was Divine is the follow-up to Baraz’s 2018 EP, Color of You. The 16-track album will also include Baraz’s previously released songs, “To Me” and “Trust.”

“This album gravitates around love and self. Losing it then finding it,” Baraz said in a press release. “A stream of thought, a shift in my perspective. It’s learning how to take care of myself. Nourishing what’s real. Learning how to let go. Learning how to let love in.”

It Was Divine arrives May 5 via Mom + Pop. While you wait for it to drop, listen to “Morocco” below:
