Zayn teases sophomore album

And he’s shared a cover of Beyoncé's "Me, Myself and I."

Zayn’s dropped a bunch of killer tracks recently, including “Let Me” and “Entertainer.” But it’s not clear if any of those singles would ever appear on a sophomore album. Well, the wait is officially over as the singer finally broke his silence over the weekend. And it’s good news for all.

“Album is on the way,” Zayn tweeted, although he made no mention of a release date. However, he did promise a few surprises—and to prove it, he’s released a cover of Beyoncé’s “Me, Myself and I” to accompany the announcement. “Here’s a taster,” he added.

The original 2003 track was released as a single from Queen Bee’s debut LP, Dangerously In Love. It was one of the more soulful tunes from the diva’s hit album, making it the perfect track for Zayn’s silky pipes.

It’s been close to two years since the former One Directioner released his debut album, Mind of Mine, and his upcoming project has been delayed ever since. Fingers crossed Zayn keeps to his promise.
