Yoshi Flower releases new track, “Dirty Water”

The single follows his debut mixtape, ‘American Raver.’

Pop singer, writer and producer Yoshi Flower has unveiled a new song called “Dirty Water.” The single follows his recently released 13-track debut mixtape, American Raver.

Yoshi lightly treads on a perky guitar-driven beat before breaking into the heavier, 808s-tinged chorus: “When you forgot how to swim / In this dirty water / I hold you closer / And I take you down.”

“‘Dirty Water,’ love and liquor, dependency, hope. I don’t remember writing the song, but I do know these methods of filling some void informed the creation,” the Detroit-born artist said of the song. “We’re all like fish swimming along in schools or all alone, as the water gets murkier and the screens get clearer.”
