Yeri of Red Velvet pens ode to self-love, “Dear Diary”

The track is the latest from the third season of SM STATION.

Red Velvet’s Yeri has released the self-composed “Dear Diary,” a reflective song for season three of her label’s SM STATION project.

The soothing, piano-led tune incorporates finger snaps, subtle guitar chords and light percussion. “You don’t need to dress up, you don’t need to be nervous / It’s alright to stop for a moment / I’m always going to be by your side / Again today, I’m whispering to the 20-year-old me,” she coos. The track was released alongside a simple video that follows the girl group member passing time at home.

“Dear Diary” is the latest track from SM STATION’s third season, following Key’s “Cold” and Yesung’s “Carpet,” among others.
