Watch the “art film” for BTS’ new single, “Black Swan”

‘Map of the Soul: 7’ arrives next month.

K-pop juggernauts BTS have released a gorgeous video for their new single, “Black Swan.”

The clip, which the boyband have dubbed an “art film,” features seven contemporary dancers from the Slovenia-based MN Dance Company. The troupe perform an intricate routine in an abandoned mall, soundtracked by the new song.

“Ocean with all light silenced shut / My wondering feet held in a rut / Every noise and sound’s been cut / Killin’ me now, killin’ me now, do you hear me?” BTS sing on the chorus over dramatic string orchestration. The boyband do not appear in the visual.

“Black Swan” is the second taste of BTS’ forthcoming album, Map of the Soul: 7, following “Interlude: Shadow,” a solo track by member Suga. The record, which is the sequel to last year’s Map of the Soul: Persona, arrives February 21.
