Little Mix recently dropped by BBC Radio 1 Live Lounge, where they performed a cover of Harry Styles’ “Falling.”
The UK girl group joined Anne Marie in the ranks of pop stars who love the former One Directioner’s solo material: she’d also recently picked a song from Styles’ latest album Fine Line to cover for the Live Lounge. Little Mix transformed “Falling” into a soulful ballad, showcasing their gentle harmonies over tender piano and guitar chords. “What if I’m down? What if I’m out? / What if I’m someone you won’t talk about? / I’m falling again, I’m falling again, I’m falling,” they sang.
In addition, the quartet also performed a stripped-down version of their latest single, “Holiday,” which was released in July. The song is expected to appear on the girl group’s upcoming album, their first since leaving longtime label Syco, alongside “Break Up Song.” Watch their performances below.
