Justin Bieber recently appeared on the April 26 edition of The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon to perform his Justice track “Peaches” alongside Fallon and The Roots.
The crew continued the show’s series of musical performances with classroom instruments, with Biebs opening the arrangement solo on the toy piano. Fallon and Roots bandleader Questlove joined in the fun, harmonizing with the Canadian singer as they launched into the song’s heartfelt chorus. The late night host also played shakers and a kazoo.
On the bridge, members of The Roots also provided harmonies and further instrumental accompaniment with items like cowbells, buckets, and paper bags. “I left my girl, I’m in my Mallorca / Hate to leave her, call it torture / Remember when I couldn’t hold her / Left the baggage for Rimowa,” they sang.
Bieber recently added six more tracks to Justice for its deluxe version, including the track “There She Go.” with Lil Uzi Vert. Over the Easter holidays, Biebs also dropped the surprise gospel-inspired EP Freedom, which featured the likes of BEAM, Tori Kelly, Judah Smith, Pink Sweat$ and Lauren Walters.
