Watch Dua Lipa’s glamorous ‘SNL’ performances

She sang “Don’t Start Now” and “Levitating.”

Dua Lipa has finally made it to Saturday Night Live as musical guest after her initial appearance was postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

For SNL’s last episode of the year, Lipa offered striking performances of Future Nostalgia singles “Don’t Start Now” and “Levitating.” To perform the latter, Lipa donned a Valentino gown and a giant furry hat that looked like an elegant cross between a jellyfish and a mushroom. Lipa also made a brief appearance during a World War II skit with Bowen Yang and host Kristen Wiig.

“It was such an honour to be invited back to the SNL stage for their last show of 2020,” Lipa gushed on Instagram after appearing on the show. “Felt so lucky to be rounding off my year with these performances and for SNL to have had me on for a skit too! Watching everyone work and the magic behind it will be something i’ll never forget. Kristen Wiig and the whole cast were so cool and i’m still floating from all the energy.”

Earlier this month, Lipa showcased Future Nostalgia in a remote Tiny Desk set for NPR. In November, she collaborated with Miley Cyrus on “Prisoner,” from her album Plastic Hearts.
