Billie Eilish performed “No Time to Die,” her theme song for the upcoming James Bond movie of the same name, for the first time at the BRIT Awards 2020 in London last night.
The 18-year-old pop star donned a glittery black tracksuit and was joined by her collaborators Hans Zimmer, Johnny Marr and Finneas for the spine-chilling performance. Zimmer conducted the backing orchestra while Marr and Finneas played the guitar and piano, respectively. Eilish was also in top form, serving confident yet haunting vocals. “Fool me once, fool me twice / Are you death or paradise? / Now you’ll never see me cry / There’s just no time to die,” she sang.
Eilish is the youngest-ever artist to write and perform a Bond theme. She is also the first American artist to do so since 2008, when Jack White and Alicia Keys performed “Another Way to Die” for Quantum of Solace.
