Watch Backstreet Boys perform with classroom instruments on ‘Fallon’

All BSB jams should be performed this way from now on.

Backstreet Boys were the latest musical guests on the recent episode of The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, and the boyband took the chance to perform a special rendition of their 1999 hit, “I Want it that Way.”

Joined by Jimmy Fallon and The Roots, BSB belted out the infectious pop number and swapped out regular instruments for ones found in the classroom. This included “fruit” shakers, hand clappers and a baby xylophone. The whole gang were dressed in all white, too, as a nod to the song’s iconic music video. Almost two decades later and the song is still a straight-up classic.

The boyband also dropped by the show to perform their latest single, “Don’t Go Breaking My Heart.”
