Watch 5 Seconds of Summer’s creepy video for “Teeth”

The song will soundtrack the third season of ‘13 Reasons Why.’

5 Seconds of Summer venture deeper into industrial pop on their brand-new song, “Teeth.”

The ominous rock-tinged track dropped alongside a twisted video, directed by Thibaut Duverneix. In the clip, the Aussie quartet are the subjects of a sadistic lab experiment. The boys endure a hellish nightmare where they face off against their captors in a bid to escape. You’ll have to watch for yourself to see how it ends.

“‘Teeth’ came about after a month-or-two-long blur of writing and pushing ourselves to go a step further than Youngblood,” frontman Luke Hemmings said in a statement. “It was a tumultuous time in my life and the lyrics in the song definitely reflect that. It speaks lyrically about a trying time in my current relationship. Musically it’s another step forward from ‘Easier’ and really embraces industrial sounds and rhythms.”

“Teeth” will be included on the soundtrack for the upcoming season of Netflix’s teen drama, 13 Reasons Why. 5SOS previously dropped the single “Easier” in May, which recently received a remix featuring Charlie Puth.
