BTS member V has dropped a new solo song, “Sweet Night,” for the soundtrack of South Korean television drama Itaewon Class.

The acoustic guitar-led track, which V co-wrote and produced, is sung entirely in English. “How could I know / One day, I’d wake up feeling more / But I had already reached the shore / Guess we were ships in the night, night, night,” he croons on the chorus.

“I read the [digital comic] for Itaewon Class a long time ago, and I remember finding it really entertaining with a message of its own,” V said in a statement, according to Allkpop. “I’m thankful to be able to participate in such a great drama through a self-produced track. I hope you will all love it a lot.”

“Sweet Night” is V’s first solo release since last February’s “Scenery.” Listen to the new song here:
