The Veronicas don’t hold back on new song, “Biting My Tongue”

The “Untouched” duo have a new album on the way.

The Veronicas have released the new single “Biting My Tongue.”

The track is the first preview of their upcoming fourth studio album, Human. It follows their 2014 self-titled album and 2018 compilation album titled after their hit 2008 single, “Untouched.” Last year, they released two singles, “Think of Me” and “Ugly.”

“‘Biting My Tongue’ is about saying everything you’ve been holding back,” the Australian sister duo of Lisa and Jess Origliasso said in a statement. “When desire sits on the tip of your tongue and you don’t know if you should share your feelings and risk it all, or hold it in and risk never knowing.”

The glossy new single will soon be getting a cinematic video treatment directed by The Veronicas themselves. A trailer, released today, teases high tension, a showdown at gunpoint and a confrontation between the Origliasso sisters.
