The Pink Lady make impressive debut with “God Girl”

It’s a musical throwback inspired by ‘Grease.’

K-pop meets Broadway in “God Girl,” The Pink Lady’s debut.

The funky, fast-paced pop song incorporates ’50s-inspired brass, rumbling drums and strong, soaring vocals from the five-member group. In the accompanying video, the ladies hit up a bowling alley on their night out, and end up taking to the stage in vintage outfits to perform the song.

The group comprise cast members from the upcoming South Korean musical stage production of Grease, which includes Woolim from girl group Playback. “God Girl” is The Pink Lady’s first release, as part of label OD Entertainment’s “popsical” (pop and musical) project.
