Taylor Swift has enlisted a slew of queer icons to star in the video for her newest anti-hate anthem, “You Need to Calm Down.”
Among the list of LGBTQ celebs in the clip include RuPaul from RuPaul’s Drag Race, Queer Eye’s Fab Five, Laverne Cox, Ellen DeGeneres, Todrick Hall, Billy Porter, Adam Lambert and Hayley Kiyoko. The rainbow-splashed video also features appearances from Ciara and Ryan Reynolds, as well as notable drag queens like Jade Jolie, Tatianna and Delta Work.
A lot of things go down in Swift’s latest star-studded visual: The singer attends a tea party with her celebrity friends, RuPaul hosts a “Queen Pageant” and the gang rally against homophobic demonstrators before participating in an epic food fight. But the video reaches its climax when Swift’s former foe Katy Perry makes a surprise appearance and the pop stars hug it out, signifying the end of their years-long feud.
