Sunmi unveils emotional video for unreleased song, “Borderline”

She first debuted the track in concert during her 2019 tour.

Sunmi has dropped a melancholic video for one of her unreleased songs, “Borderline,” which she self-composed.

In the clip, the K-pop idol performs an emotional contemporary dance routine on a bare-bones set, alongside two back-up dancers. The visual also features slow-motion scenes of Sunmi sinking into a filled bathtub.

“I’m tryna be a good girl / Didn’t mean to fake it / Gettin’ used to sayin’ I’m okay / And yellin’ to myself / Don’t push me away,” she sings.

The video for “Borderline” marks the first time the studio version of the song has been made available. However, it is still not available to listen on streaming services. The track first made its debut in 2019 during Sunmi’s Warning World Tour.

Last week, Sunmi teamed up with JY Park for the throwback song, “When We Disco.” Back in June, she released a video for her latest solo single, “Pporappippam.”
