Sia releases video for Dua Lipa co-write “Saved My Life”

A new song premiered during a livestream fundraiser last week.

Sia has unveiled the music video for her brand-new single, “Saved My Life,” which was co-written by none other than Dua Lipa.

She debuted the song during Americares’ “COVID is No Joke” livestream fundraiser last Friday (May 1), which also featured Steve Carell, Will Ferrell, and Jack Black, amongst other celebrities.

“Someone must have sent you to save me tonight / I know that in darkness I have found my light,” Sia sings on the chorus. “I know that in darkness I’ve been given sight / In your loving arms I feel delight / In your loving arms I’ll be alright.”

The artistic visual for “Saved My Life” follows an abstract, monochrome theme, featuring dancers with painted faces and performers donning wigs similar to the Australian pop star’s.

Earlier this year, the singer shared in a tweet that while she has “two albums waiting to go,” they won’t be out until her upcoming movie, Music, is released. “Saved My Life” follows previous releases including “Original,” a song Sia wrote for the Dolittle movie, and her collaboration with BTS, “On,” from the K-pop boy band’s latest album Map of the Soul: 7.

All proceeds from the track will go to Americares and Core Response’s COVID-19 relief efforts.
