Australian singer Sia has released “Original,” which will soundtrack the closing credits of the forthcoming film Dolittle.

On the empowering pop anthem, Sia sings about embracing her uniqueness against all odds. “Nah, I won’t waste my life being typical / I’mma be original, even when it’s difficult / And I won’t change myself when they tell me, ‘No’ / I’mma be original, I’mma be original,” she sings on the chorus.

Dolittle is an adaptation of the children’s book series Doctor Dolittle. The film, which stars Robert Downey Jr, Emma Thompson and Selena Gomez, hits theaters on January 17.

“Original” is Sia’s first solo music release since 2018’s ”I’m Still Here.” Last year, she teamed up with Labrinth and Diplo as LSD. The trio’s album, Labrinth, Sia & Diplo Present… LSD, featured the songs “No New Friends” and “Thunderclouds.”
