SHINee make long-awaited comeback with ‘Don’t Call Me’

The K-pop veterans’ first album since 2018.

SHINee are back: the K-pop boyband have made their much-anticipated return with Don’t Call Me.

The nine-track record is the group’s first release in three years, following their three-part 2018 album The Story of Light and the completion of mandatory military service by members Key, Minho and Onew. For the LP, the quartet enlisted longtime collaborator and producer Kenzie, alongside hitmakers such as Danke, Shin Jin Hye and more.

In the accompanying video, the boyband showcase their signature powerful dance moves in an abandoned movie theater. “Your love is over / Don’t want it now, ooh / If you love me, please let me go / Don’t want it now, ooh / I keep telling you there is no next time in your life,” they sing.
