Shawn Mendes is “Nervous” on new track

It's the latest release from his upcoming album.

Shawn Mendes has been busy teasing fans across the globe with tracks from his upcoming self-titled LP. First came “In My Blood,” then “Lost In Japan,” and subsequently “Youth” and “Where Were You In The Morning.” Now, it’s time for “Nervous” to capture your attention.

Like the other songs that’ve dropped, “Nervous” sees Mendes pushing his sound in exciting new directions. The song kicks off with a catchy, rhythmic bass (think Selena Gomez’s “Bad Liar”), before the singer-songwriter unleashes his falsetto on the anthemic chorus.

“I get a little bit nervous / Get a little bit stressed out when I think about you,” he sings. Guess even the biggest pop stars in the world still get the shakes every now and then.
