K-pop boyband Seventeen are back with a brand-new single, “Hit.”
The high-energy song features the group’s vocals over a frenzied production of laser-esque synths and hand claps. The dynamic track then dives into the propulsive chorus, which is built around chants of “oh-whoas” and “let me drop the music.”
The single was released alongside a sleek video. In the clip, the 13-member group show off their impeccable choreography on vibrant soundstages. The visual also uses clever editing tricks and glitchy animations to craft a futuristic vibe.
“Hit” is the second Korean release from Seventeen, following January’s You Made My Dawn EP, which featured the song “Home.” They previously released the Japanese-language single “Happy Ending” in May.
