Selena Gomez’s first Spanish-language EP, ‘Revelación,’ is here

The follow-up to ‘Rare.’

Selena Gomez has unveiled Revelación, her first-ever Spanish-language EP.

The seven-song project includes the previously released songs “De Una Vez” and “Baila Conmigo” featuring Rauw Alejandro. It also features collaborations with DJ Snake (on the closer “Selfish Love”) and Myke Towers (“Dámelo To”).

Speaking to Zane Lowe about the EP, Gomez said that she put a lot of thought into the songs. “It is something that needed to be precise and needed to be respected by the audience I’m going to release this for,” she explained. The pop star also said that Spanish came to her “very naturally” after she first listened to the music. “I think I sing better in Spanish,” Gomez joked. “That’s something I discovered.”

Revelación is the follow-up to Gomez’s third solo album Rare, which arrived in January 2020. The LP later received a deluxe edition in April, featuring three new songs “She,” “Souvenir” and “Boyfriend.”
