Selena Gomez unleashes her first album in four years, ‘Rare’

With collaborations with 6LACK and Kid Cudi.

Selena Gomez’s long-awaited third studio album, Rare, is finally out. The LP is her first full-length since 2015’s Revival.

The 13-track record features collaborations with R&B crooner 6LACK and rapper Kid Cudi. She previewed the LP with “Look at Her Now” and the chart-topping “Lose You to Love Me.” The deluxe edition of the album adds five of Gomez’s 2017 and 2018 singles, including “Back to You,” “It Ain’t Me” with Kygo and the Gucci Mane-assisted “Fetish.”

“I think there’s always going to be a sense of strong pop in my music, but I definitely explored more with electric guitar, a lot of more soulful tracks underneath things, acoustic guitar, it all kind of hits different places that I feel like is my lane for music,” Gomez previously told Jimmy Fallon about the record. “It’s just, ‘live in that world and mellow.’”
