Selena Gomez, DJ Snake reunite for “Selfish Love”

‘Revelación’ is on the way.

Selena Gomez has once again linked up with DJ Snake, this time for a cut off her forthcoming Revelación EP, “Selfish Love.”

The bilingual track arrived with a Rodrigo Saavedra-directed visual set in a trippy hair salon that entraps unsuspecting patrons.

“Just a little crush, got me over here thinking / Does somebody else care, somebody else care? / I know we got trust, but you be gettin’ me thinking / Does somebody else care, somebody else care?” sings Gomez over the tropical house beat.

“With the whole world being separated from each other I kept looking and working only on pure good vibes,” said DJ Snake in a statement. “I wanted to make music for the world and mix all my favorite influences of Afro Beat, Latin music, something that felt grounded and organic.”

He added: “Selena and I had been talking and after ‘Taki Taki’ we had to give the world another round with fresh summer vibes. Something that made it feel like summer the first time you heard it. ‘Selfish Love’ came very naturally for us and I think it’s the perfect evolution for our history together.”

The pair previously linked up for the aforementioned smash hit “Taki Taki,” which comes off DJ Snake’s star-studded 2018 LP Carte Blanche. The 17-track record featured the likes of Sheck Wes, Offset, 21 Savage, Gucci Mane, J Balvin, Tyga and more.

Revelación will be Gomez’s first-ever Spanish language EP and will include the previously released “Baila Conmigo” and “De Una Vez.” It follows her 2020 studio album Rare—which later received a deluxe edition—that featured the chart-topping “Lose You To Love Me” and “Look At Her Now.”

Revelación is due to drop March 12. While you wait, watch the video for “Selfish Love” below:
