Red Velvet return with summer-ready single, “Umpah Umpah”

Check out their new EP, ‘The ReVe Festival: Day 2.’

Red Velvet have returned with “Umpah Umpah,” the lead single from their latest EP, The ReVe Festival: Day 2.

The upbeat pop song dropped alongside a fun-filled video, which follows the ladies on their summer vacation. They escape the city to a beachside villa, but are struck with bad luck when the weather takes a turn for the worse. The storm forces them to hide indoors and pass the time with board games and TV.

“Umpah Umpah” opens the girl group’s second project of the year, The ReVe Festival: Day 2, the sequel to June’s The ReVe Festival: Day 1. The ladies are set to close the trilogy later this year with The ReVe Festival: Finale.

Red Velvet previously joined Ellie Goulding and Diplo on a remix of Goulding’s smash hit, “Close to Me.” The rework features a new Korean-language verse and chorus written by members Wendy and Yeri.
