Super-producer Mark Ronson has released a new song, “Nothing Breaks Like a Heart,” featuring Miley Cyrus.
The country-inflected ode to heartbreak is taken from Ronson’s forthcoming, as-yet untitled record of “sad bangers,” as he put it. The producer’s last solo album was 2015’s Uptown Special, which spawned the monster hit “Uptown Funk.”
Besides Cyrus, the record will also feature Lykke Li, Zebba and breakthrough artist King Princess, who is the first artist signed to Ronson’s Zelig label.
This album announcement tops off a busy year for the hitmaker, who co-wrote “Shallow” from A Star is Born and released the Dua Lipa collab “Electricity” with Diplo under the name Silk City.
