Miley Cyrus, Dua Lipa brush off their exes on “Prisoner”

Miley Cyrus has enlisted Dua Lipa for her brand-new single, “Prisoner.”

In the steamy video, the duo play musicians traveling to their next gig in a dingy tour bus. While on the way, they rock out to the ’80s-inspired track and pour red cherry juice over one another, before making their way to a packed dive bar to wrap up the performance. The visual ends with a simple message to their former lovers: “In loving memory of all my exes. Eat shit.”

“Prisoner, prisoner, locked up / Can’t get you off my mind, off my mind / Lord knows I tried a million times, million times, oh-woah / Why can’t you, why can’t you just let me go?” they sing on the chorus.

“Prisoner” will appear on Cyrus’ upcoming album Plastic Hearts, which arrives next Friday, November 27. Besides Dua Lipa, the LP will also feature ’80s icons Billy Idol and Joan Jett, as well as “Midnight Sky” and Cyrus’ cover of Blonde’s “Heart of Glass.”
