Maroon 5, Megan Thee Stallion drop “Beautiful Mistakes” MV

Check out the gorgeous technicolor visual here.

Maroon 5 and Megan Thee Stallion have released a video for their recently released collaboration, “Beautiful Mistakes.”

The surreal, technicolor video was directed by Sophie Muller and follows Maroon 5 frontman Adam Levine as he drives through Los Angeles while reminiscing about his ex. “I fill my days with the way you walk / And fill my nights with broken dreams / I make up lies inside my head / Like one day you’ll come back to me,” he croons.

As he becomes lost in thought, Levine’s car begins to take flight through the city, floating past notable LA landmarks like the Hollywood sign and Randy’s Donuts. Megan meets the singer in his fantasy to remind him of what he lost.

“You did me wrong ’cause I let you / Usually, I like my situations beneficial / Doin’ something different, got me lookin’ stupid / The only way I’m comin’ back to you is if you’re dreaming, lucid,” she spits.

“Beautiful Mistakes” is a cut from Maroon 5’s upcoming as-yet-untitled album. Previously released tracks “Memories” and “Nobody’s Love” are also expected to appear on the record.
