Marina drops stirring new single, “Man’s World”

Produced in collaboration with an all-female team.

Marina—formerly known as Marina and the Diamonds—has dropped her latest single, “Man’s World.”

The Jennifer Decilveo-produced track is an ode to femininity that expresses deep frustration with a male-dominated society. “Mother nature’s dying / Nobody’s keeping score / I don’t wanna live in a man’s world anymore,” she intones on the chorus.

The accompanying visual, directed by Alexandra Gavillet, was likewise the work of a female-only crew. The dazzling video stars Marina and her co-performers as they frolic on a hillside, decked out in vibrant robes.

“Man’s World” is set to appear on Marina’s fifth studio LP planned for next year, a follow-up to last year’s LOVE + FEAR. Between the releases, she wrote a standalone single, “About Love,” for the Netflix film To All the Boys: PS I Still Love You.
