Madonna has released a wild MV for her new single “Medellín,” featuring Colombian singer Maluma.
The pop icon opens the video with a whispered monologue: “I have been kidnapped, tortured, humiliated and abused. But I still have hope. I still believe in the goodness of humans. Thank God for nature. For the angels that surround me. For the spirit of my mother, who is always protecting me. From now on, I am Madame X. And Madame X loves to dance because you can’t hit a moving target.”
The clip then jumps into the song, with the pop icon plays a dance teacher who sets her sights on Maluma. They start a whirlwind romance and soon tie the knot at an outdoor wedding. The visual ends with the pair riding off on horseback into the sunset.
“Medellín” is the first single off Madonna’s comeback album, Madame X, due out June 14. Watch her new video below:
