Loona just want to fly like a “Butterfly”

Released alongside an inspiring video that showcases a diverse cast.

Ever since their official debut last August, Loona have built up a sizable international following and are seizing the moment with the release of “Butterfly.”

The new track is an atmospheric, piano-led EDM tune that incorporates subdued snares, bouncy synths and pitched wails of “fly like a butterfly” as the refrain. Its accompanying visual has been noted for its diversity, with moments that feature women of different races and creeds from around the world. The clip was shot on-location in countries such as France, Hong Kong and Iceland.

“Butterfly” is the lead single from the group’s repackaged 12-track album, [X X], which includes songs from their debut EP [+ +], like “Hi High” and “Favorite.” The former has topped the iTunes pop charts in 26 countries, including the US, Spain and France, as Soompi reports.
