Little Mix share title track of upcoming album ‘Confetti’

The full LP drops tomorrow.

Ahead of the release of their sixth studio album Confetti this Friday, Little Mix have shared the final preview: its title track.

Produced by TMS and co-written by MNEK and longtime Little Mix collaborator Maegan Cottone, “Confetti” is a sultry kiss-off to bad exes. The English pop quartet celebrate leaving a toxic relationship by partying with the rest of their crew. “All of my dreams, from the sky, drop like confetti,” they sing on the chorus. “You’re missin’ me, but I’m finally free / I got what I need, so let it rain down like confetti.”

“‘Confetti’ is sexy. It’s very understated but cool. And we just feel cool listening to it,” member Perrie Edwards said in a statement. “As soon as we had this song, we just knew this would be what the album would be called. It was fun, cool, and you could do so much with it.”

Confetti drops in full tomorrow. It will include the previously released songs “Break Up Song,” “Holiday” and “Sweet Melody.” The album is the follow-up to the group’s 2018 album LM5.
