Listen to Little Boots’ new EP, ‘Burn’

The British synth pop sweetheart draws from plenty of star power in her new four-track EP.

It’s been a busy period for Victoria Hesketh, better known as Little Boots. She spent the last two months promoting two singles—“Shadows” and “Picture”—and today released her new EP, Burn.

The four-track EP is the star-studded result of a confluence between four underground female producers. It finds Little Boots breaking out of the mainstream pop mold of her previous releases, preferring the darker vibe that Joyce Muniz, Lauren Flax, Planningtorock and Coro Novoa bring to the table.

“Creating a project focused on female talent is something I’ve wanted to do for a long time, and the process was incredibly inspiring,” Hesketh said. “The producers involved hail from more underground backgrounds sonically and have very different approaches, but what tied everything together was their open-mindedness and embrace of pop hooks and melodies.”
